Manzanillo / Mal Pais, Costa Rica

 

The Villas of Orishás are in the small hamlet of Manzanillo near Mal Pais /Santa Teresa on the Pacific side of Costa Rica.

Flying to Tambor :

There are daily flights from San José to Tambor with
Sansa Airlines:  http://www.flysansa.com
and Nature Air:  http://www.natureair.com

In Tambor take a taxi for the 30 min drive to Manzanillo.

Driving with a Car :

From San Jose drive to Puntarenas and take the ferry to Paquera across the Gulf of Nicoya.

From Paquera drive 46 km to Cobano and run straight ahead for another 13 km to Manzanillo.
From Santa Teresa/Mal Pais it is a 10 km drive north on the coastal road.
In rainy season you will need a 4WD vehicle to manage the roads.
